2024 MOM CONGRESS DC EVENT

Mom Congress is both a movement and a moment. Mom Congress members and advocates joined us for the Mom Congress “Moment” this May in DC. This convening brought mothers and other advocates together to learn, receive issue and advocacy training, be inspired by influential leaders, to connect with others, and advocate for change on Capitol Hill.

2024 DC Hill Day SCHEDULE

May 15th, 2024

Prior to Hill Day, Mom Congress held virtual trainings including: Bill Trainings, Mom Congress 101, and Guided Workshop: Securing Your Legislative Meetings. All trainings were recorded and accessible on the Mom Congress Members Only webpage.

8:30 am - 10:00 am Congressional Briefing: Saving and Supporting Moms

10:00 am - 12:00 pm House of Representatives Meetings

12:30 pm Group Photo

Location: Capitol Hill Lawn

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Senate and Key Committee Meetings

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Congressional Reception, Photo Op + Meet and Greet

- Accommodation is completely on your own, there will not be a designated hotel block in 2024
- All in person programming takes place on one day, Wednesday May 15th
- There are currently no scholarships available to cover the cost of attending Hill Day in DC for 2024
- Registration will be limited to two invited members per state, please see further details below
Two Mom Congress members per state will be invited via email to register for the 2024 DC Hill Day at a standard registration cost of $95 per person. Invitations for two members from each state to register will be sent out based on Mom Congress tenure. These members will be given a one week opportunity for first right of refusal to register for the spot for that state, then the invitation will be forwarded onto the next members.
Of course! All Mom Congress members will have access to all the training associated with the 2024 Moms’ Agenda. We will host a guided opportunity for securing in-district advocacy meetings as well as virtual advocacy sessions throughout the calendar year.
All Mom Congress members will have access to all the same virtual trainings being offered to Hill Day Registrants. Opportunities to advocate in-district as well as virtually will continue throughout the year.
We are already looking ahead to hosting our 7th annual Hill Day in DC in September of 2025. We anticipate that this event will have a larger capacity.
